Originally from a small rural town in Kentucky, Maureen is thrilled to be living and working in Pittsboro, North Carolina.  With over 23 years in the field of public bilingual education, first as a Montessori educator and then as a school leader, Maureen recently made the career changing decision to move into the real estate business with Eric Andrews and his administrative team.  She is an efficient worker and a compassionate professional, eager to be of service.

Maureen earned her BA degree in English Literature at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana.  She served as an Americorp volunteer in Boston, Massachusetts, later earning a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  She earned her administrative leadership certificate at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland.  She has taught and worked professionally in Massachusetts, Michigan, Maryland, Washington, D.C, Connecticut, New York, and here, in the lovely state of North Carolina.  She is glad to have settled into a place that feels like home!    

Maureen enjoys running, swimming, biking and quilting in her free time.  She also enjoys time in her cozy cabin with her wood burning stove, her partner, and her loving pup, Lula.  Finally, she is an avid reader and a super fan of the local public library.  She is happy to be part of the Andrew’s team and looks forward to helping many sell or find their dream home, the perfect commercial property, or a large land tract in central North Carolina.
